Everything is perspective and this is my distillation about what men need to become wealthy.

For me the two qualities most needed above everything else is

A man should be able to access rivers of wealth

A man who has access to a stream of wealth should be able to defend his turf and keep encroachers off.

What are rivers of wealth? I got this idea about rivers of wealth when I read Venkatesh Rao’s article about the same. The basic idea is that the bread you buy every morning is part of an ancient river of wealth when someone in Ancient Rome bought a loaf of bread. Venkatesh Rao explains it much better. I highly recommend you read the same.
